Annapolis seafood fans are about to be treated to a crab feast, and landlubbers are also on the guestlist for the fundraising affair.
The Rotary Club of Annapolis has set the date for its annual Crab Feast, and this will be its 79th year. The Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium will be the location for the evening, and the food will be served all-you-can-eat.
Diners at the gathering will be served crab along with a variety of sides, and for dessert, they can head to the bake sale table. Early bird tickets will be on offer until July 14, and both general admission and children's passes are available. They must be reserved in advance.
This popular community gathering often attracts a high number of attendees, and its organizers have put together a variety of sponsorship options, which start at $250 and go up to $5,000. The monies raised will be used to help fund a variety of local initiative and charitable activities, and to help maximize this amount, a raffle is also in the works. T-Shirts printed with a fun graphic design are also available for purchase, priced at $20 each.
This chance for Annapolis crab fans to enjoy a seafood feast will be welcoming diners on Friday, August 2, beginning at 5:00 pm. The Rotary Club’s website offers additional information for diners and sponsors.
