A musical May in store at Annapolis bar

Located at 49 West Street, Annapolis, the 49 West Coffeehouse and Wine Bar and has some exciting musical groups performing in May in the evening

On May 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29, the United Jazz Ensemble will play from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm. This is an acoustic jazz group with years of professional experience.

On May 3, a versatile jazz band performs in the shape of the Mars 4tet from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. They play old and new jazz tunes.

Dean Rosenthal and Friends will perform on May 2, 16, 23, and 30 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, catering to fans of blues and folk music.

Sunday Jam Sessions take place on May 6, 13, and 27 from 9:00 am to 12 noon. All types of acoustic string instrument musicians are invited to perform.

On May 7, Monday Songwriters Showcase takes place from 8:00 to 11:00 pm, with many talented musicians participating.

First Fridays with Tom Mitchell and Friends, taking place on May 4 at from 8:00 to 11:00 pm, is a session of music and Korean food.

On May 18, The Johnny Monet Band plays rock and roll from 8:00 to 11:00 pm, and on May 25, Meg Murray and August West, both singers and songwriters, perform from 8:00 to 11:00 pm.

Other groups performing on weekends are Her Him and I, King of Crownsville, Gary & Leah, and The Befuddlers.
