West Roxbury rabbits will soon be getting some pampering thanks to a local pop-up fundraiser.
Nail trims are part of the care required for most companion buns, and the Rabbit Network will be offering this service as a fundraising event. The fee being charged is $15 for each rabbit, and it must be paid upon arrival.
The activity will have personnel on hand to check each rabbit's paws and trim their nails safely. No appointment is required, and those interested can simply bring along their bunny in a carrier. They can also meet other rabbit owners, and the monies raised will help the organization provide care for rabbits in need, as well as information and resources for pet owners. The clinic will run for two hours, and the service will be available on a first come, first served basis.
When it comes to fundraising, there are all kinds of options available to not-for-profit groups, from grass roots activities to national level signature galas. No matter how large or small they might be, they may all be able to make use of the services available at a local poster printing company.
House Rabbit Network has scheduled its nail trim for Sunday, April 26 at 2 Park Drive in Westford. It will run from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.
