Before they head out to take their kids trick-or-treating or to attend a seasonal soiree, West Roxbury adults can take a seat in the audience for a matinee film screening.
The West Roxbury branch of the Boston Public Library System has invited its residents to be part of a free movie afternoon. The film screened will be “Obsession,” which was released in 2025 and has a run time of almost two hours.
Everyone who attends the event is encouraged to wear a costume if they wish, and there will be light refreshments supplied. They may also choose to bring their own soft or other non-alcoholic beverages and bagged snacks.
The venue can accommodate the use of a mobility device, although those who require additional accommodations have been asked to make arrangements for this at least two weeks in advance by contacting the library through its website. The activity will be held in the venue’s Community Room.
A library can offer everything from the chance to borrow both physical and electronic Books to hosting workshops, club meetings, presentations, and other events. A brochure printing company can craft activity guides and other publications that keep the local public informed about what they have on offer.
The West Roxbury library branch will be getting the Halloween excitement off to an early start with its movie screening set for Saturday, October 31, beginning at 1:30 pm.
