West Roxbury has set a course for fun, and one of its upcoming activities will have the whole town’s toes tapping.
The Free Concerts on the Green program brings an eclectic mix of musicians to the community, with dates set on selected Tuesdays during the summer. The initiative will continue in the fall, when installments move to Saturday afternoons.
Each session of the concert series will feature local live performers, and everyone is encouraged to stop by one of the Dedham Square eateries and other establishments to do some shopping and pick up a bite to eat before they take in the show. There will be complementary parking in the Keystone lot located at 10 Eastern Avenue. The activities are being offered thanks, in part, to a grant from the Dedham Cultural Council.
To help keep the free concerts coming, locals who appreciate the program are encouraged to make a donation, whether large or small. A poster printing company can supply a range of marketing options to help spread the word about an activity to its home area.
The Free Concert on the Green summer series runs now until September 1 on Tuesday evenings starting at 6:00 pm. The fall installments will kick off on Saturday, September 12. They will all take place at 600 High Street in Dedham Square.
