A West Roxbury organization that offers area kids opportunities to enjoy sports, community events, and other activities has invited area adults to be part of its signature summer fundraiser.
Parkway in Motion, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, recently released the date for its Parkway Cup at George Wright Golf Course. It will feature an early morning tee-off time, so golfers can look forward to a day of fun in the sun.
Once they have checked in, players will take to the links at 8:00 am, and after they have played through they will be invited to stay on site for lunch. Raffle draws for Corporate Gifts and other donated prizes will add an extra dash of excitement to the day.
There are options to sign up as a foursome of golfers, or to play and also serve as a hole sponsor. One of the perks for registrants will be the chance to show off their skills in the Parkway’s Premier Putter contest. A local printer with Graphic Design Services can craft trophies, awards, and other prizes, as well as specially prepared certificates to present to the winners.
