Multi-talented musicians coming to West Roxbury
Two major musical talents are coming to West Roxbury, where they will appear as part of Music on Center.
David Roth and Cosy Sheridan will be sharing the stage where they will each perform original songs for the audience. Their music speaks to major issues in today’s society, but also expresses the importance of even the smallest details and the difference they can make in everyday life.
Both artists are guitarists, singer-songwriters, and workshop organizers. David Roth conducts writers’ workshops in schools throughout New England. Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary said:
Cosy Sheridan lived in Utah for many years and conducted workshops there. She also holds songwriting workshops in New Hampshire and regularly climbs to the top of the folk radio charts. The Cornell Folksong Society says:
Music on Center concerts are held in the parish hall of the Theodore Parker Church at 70 Corey Street. The event is scheduled for April 5, from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm. Admission prices are $25 for adults and $15 for those 21 and under. Reservations are accepted, but no tickets will be sold in advance. Posters are the traditional medium for advertising events like this, and organizers can find them easily at print shops.
