A West Roxbury venue is preparing to welcome what is billed as being one of the top fun runs in the Boston area, and 2025 will be the 31st year of the activity.
Billings Field on Lagrange Street will be the location for the annual Corrib Pub Classic 5k, which will have registration options for almost every age.
The race will follow a five-kilometer route, and a kids’ fun run is also in the works. The registration fee is $35 each until this Saturday, May 31, after which it will increase.
Runners will be taking to the course at 12:00 pm, and the kids’ fun run, which is for those from the ages of 4 to 12, will begin at 10:00 am. After the run, attendees may choose to stay on site and enjoy the music and food. The first 500 people to arrive for the race will receive a T-shirt, and the proceeds will be donated to area charities.
A banner printing company will be able to help any fundraising event become a success. It can prepare decor for the start and finish lines as well as finisher’s medals and other swag.
