Symphony orchestra to give local performance

The North Worcester County Symphony Orchestra will play in Leominster next month, with musical pieces to celebrate the festive season.

The performance will be put together by StageWorks, a non-profit organization that supports theatrical works and other cultural programs. Throughout the year, the group plans musical performances for Leominster, no doubt encouraging those from nearby Fitchburg to make the short journey.

The performance is called “A Little Holiday Music,” where the orchestra will play holiday music for listeners. The group consists of 42 members, featuring musicians still in high school to those who have earned a Ph.D. They are directed by Jared Bloch, a music teacher with over a decade of experience. Chorus groups from the surrounding area will also be at the event to give performances. These events are often supported with the help of flyer printing, which might provide more information on songs performed and other details at the event.

The theater has a few COVID-19 requirements in place, including mandatory masks for audience members and proof of vaccination for cast and crew.

A Little Holiday Music will happen on December 10 and 11 and will start at 7:00 PM on both days. Tickets to the event are $20 for adults and $10 for children. It will take place at the Leominster City Hall Auditorium located at 25 West Street.
