Fitchburg State University has taken the saxifrage as its flower as it represents determination, strength, and resilience – traits that will be celebrated during an upcoming gala affair.
The institution's Presidential Garden Gala is right around the corner, and it will invite the local corporate and private communities to celebrate its past, present, and future. The theme will be “An evening where the future blooms,” and the symbol of the saxifrage will be seen throughout the six-hour running time of the event.
The plans for the evening include dining, dancing, and many opportunities for connection. Everyone will have the chance to celebrate the success of the campus’s scholars, and the menu for the occasion will be presented by Chartwells. The festivities will kick off with a cocktail hour mixer, with a bar service running throughout. Awards will be presented to this year’s recipients.
A fundraiser often highlights the work of its target organization or cause, and a banner printing company can lend a hand when it comes to choosing suitable décor, as well as printed programs to distribute that provide the guests with more information and a tip of the hat to its sponsors.
The 2026 Presidential Garden Gala will be an evening of elegant engagement taking place at Fitchburg State University Recreation Center. Its doors will open at 5:00 pm on Saturday, April 25.
