Fitchburg festivities wrap up 2025

Fitchburg families will be enjoying some early New Year’s Eve fun when they attend a party that will see out 2025 and ring in 2026 in high style.

The crew at Fitchburg Public Library want to help its patrons bid a fond farewell to 2025 while welcoming 2026 with their friends and family. It will be on offer at its temporary location at 166 Boulder Drive, and will be spread out over three of its event spaces.

The attendees will be able to hit the dance floor and show off their best moves to the music, and it will be a high energy activity. The guests can each make a craft to keep and take home as a memento, and snacks will be served. A traditional style countdown is on the agenda, and while all ages are welcome, children need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

New Year’s Eve and other special events often incorporate custom decor prepared by a local banner printing company. Both reusable and single use styles are on the market, and many can be rolled up or folded for storage until they are needed again.

The registration system for this early New Year's Eve party will open on December 1st at 9:00 am, and the process can be completed on site at the Children’s Desk or through the library’s website. The fun will start at 11:30 am on December 31st.
