A Fitchburg continuing education class will soon teach some hands-on crafting techniques, keeping the joy of education alive even for those whose schooldays are well in the past.
The Monty Tech School of Continuing Education has a full catalog of extended learning options, one of which will see its attendees craft a wreath using natural elements. It is scheduled for an evening in mid-November, and each attendee will be able to create their own custom look.
Registrants will be provided with a vine base for their wreath, and they will be walked through the steps of incorporating the other materials. Everyone can choose their own naturally sourced pinecones, berries, seed pods, and fresh evergreens, using them to their own personal taste. No previous experience is required, and the $15 kit is included in the $55 registration fee.
Attending a hobby or crafting class provides a fun and supportive way to pick up some new skills, and it may also be a chance to meet and make new friends. A flyer printing company will be able to provide marketing options for such an activity at various price points.
The Monty Tech School of Continuing Education will be running its Winter Vine Wreath Workshop on Wednesday, November 18. It will begin at 5:30 pm and continue until 7:00 pm at 1050 Westminster Street in Fitchburg.
