Fitchburg fundraiser to ferry passengers to NYC
New York will be all decked out for the holidays this December, and Fitchburg folk can get in on the fun of the Big Apple.
The animals cared for by Ahimsa Haven will benefit from the proceeds of an upcoming bus trip that will ferry them to NYC. Tickets are on offer for $80 each, and there are enough spaces for 45 passengers.
Those who take advantage of the initiative will be able to do some sightseeing, attend a play or other show, or finish their holiday shopping. As someone else will be doing the driving, they will be able to leave their car at home. Passengers will be both picked up and dropped off at Twin City Shopping Plaza, and everyone who signs up will board the bus starting at 5:30 am. The monies raised will help Ahimsa Haven to continue to provide stray and unwanted animals with care and a place to stay while they wait for a forever home.
An organized bus excursion gives the public a fun and easy way to travel. Poster printing companies will be able to create an assortment of marketing materials that can be helpful in spreading the word.
This organized holiday outing to NYC will depart from Fitchburg on Saturday, December 10. It will be returning to the drop off point at 11:00 pm that night.
