Fitchburg fair to be focused on health and wellness
A healthy community can soon become a happy community, and a Fitchburg event may go some way towards making this happen next month.
The Community Resource Fair is on the way to the city and will give locals a convenient way to learn how they can be proactive when it comes to their health. It is expected that at least 70 tables and booths will be in the mix, and all ages may benefit from attending the event in person.
Attendees at the fair can browse through the displays, meeting service providers, not-for-profit group representatives and a wide assortment of vendors, and they can learn about housing initiatives, services for veterans and also the various cultural offerings found locally. Health screenings and flu shots will be available, and a fundraising refreshment stand is on the agenda.
To thank everyone for their support, the vendors who take part will be donating corporate gifts that will be offered as prizes in a raffle draw. Tickets for this will be distributed free of charge.
The Fitchburg Senior Center will be welcoming the public for this resource fair, which will begin at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 19. It will be open until 7:00 pm that evening, and everyone is encouraged to stop by and learn how to live their best life.
