Fitchburg event to feature big rigs
Trucks can fascinate both the young and the young at heart, and the Fitchburg area will be giving a warm welcome to an event that will give people a chance to see them up close.
HOPE, which provides a range of support to community members in need, has scheduled its Touch a Truck event in partnership with Mount Wachusett Community College. Admission to the festivities will be $5.00, and there will be plenty of fun to be had.
The attendees will be able to view an assortment of trucks and other vehicles up close, and along with this, there will be music, dancing, and other entertainment. Food will be served for as long as supplies last, and the monies raised will be used to help fund programming that assists community members in need. The activity will be open members of the general public, and advance registration is not needed.
When organizing a special event, planners may find themselves in the market for banner printing services. A local print shop will be happy to help.
The Touch a Truck fundraiser will see the big rigs roll in to the parking area at 444 Green Street on September 23rd. Everyone is asked to stop by and have some fun while they do a good turn for their neighbors in need. Passes for the function may be purchased at the gate.
