Families welcome to attend Fitchburg area activity

Fitchburg families who are on the hunt for some wintertime fun are welcome to be part of an activity that will be held in a local green space.

Wachusett Meadow will be the location for an activity that will introduce preschool age kids to the natural world. The facilitator for the occasion will be Chris Eaton, who is the site’s Lead Educator. The activity’s runtime is set at one hour, and it will be held outdoors, barring inclement weather.

The youngsters will be read a story that includes natural themes, and after this, everyone will make a craft to take home with them. There will also be a trail walk, and with some luck, the kids may even be able to spot some local wildlife. As it will be held outside, face masks are not required, but they are mandatory should the activity have to be moved indoors. Many groups are now using waivers and contact tracing forms, and these may be ordered from stationery printers.

Organizers have explained that anyone who would like to register for the event but has missed out because it is full is welcome to add their name to the waitlist. If there is enough demand, a second session may be held.

This preschool-friendly activity will be held on January 14. It will begin at 10:30 am, and the fee to participate starts at $4 for each child.
