Partnership created for Beverly nursing school

The Cummings Foundation has donated $20m to Endicott College in Beverly to create a partnership and rename the school of nursing to the Cummings School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

This is the largest partnership in the history of the college that will also create on campus a new classroom building. It will be a state-of-the-art space for learning that will be the home for the program for Sport Science at the college. It will have both traditional classrooms and interactive lab space. More information about such new classrooms and their features is often provided with the help of brochure printing services.

Dr. Steven DiSalvo, president of Endicott College, expressed his thrill with this new partnership and added his gratitude at the philanthropy and commitment of Bill and Joyce Cummings. He added that this donation will ensure the development of the future healthcare professionals and nurses at the college, which is of great importance at this time.

A large-scale conceptual orange butterfly sculpture made of iron was also installed on the college campus by the Wylie Inn and Conference Center as part of the donation. This is one of 22 such sculptures on Cummings properties in the city and greater Boston. Jim Trudeau, chief design officer at Cummings Properties and resident of Beverly, prepared the plans for the sculptures.
