Medical device company opens headquarters in Beverly
Freudenberg Medical is now operating in a new medical manufacturing facility in Beverly.
The company is a developer and manufacturer of finished devices and specialty components for the medical device industry, and is a member of the Freudenberg Group.
The building spans 36,000 square feet and will become the new headquarters for the company. Stationery printers are often hired by such companies when new headquarters are opened. The building has expanded facilities for innovation and manufacturing and Class 8 cleanroom space for assembly and molding. It will be used for manufacturing medical components and devices in implant-grade and medical high-performance plastics and silicones.
President and CEO of Freudenberg Medical, Dr. Max Kley, said that the life science cluster in the Boston area is the ideal location for the company’s expanded manufacturing operations and new headquarters. Dr. Kley added that this location will provide better access to a workforce with strengths in medical technology, bring the company closer to its customers, and enable the company to connect with universities and other institutions of research more effectively.
