Georgetown is gearing up to welcome residents and visitors for an investigative evening this summer, with participants exploring the town’s paranormal hotspots.
The Georgetown After Dark event is opening registration to interested parties online who are ready to learn about local history while also seeking paranormal experiences with expert assistance. The event, which is being organized by Georgetown/Scott County Tourism, will kick off with a complimentary cocktail for participants who are 21 and over before taking the groups on guided investigations of settings like the Slainte Public House.
Attendees will enjoy a complete ghost-hunting experience that will be led by an experienced paranormal investigator. The evening will explore layers of Georgetown’s history, share interesting stories, and tie the investigations to the historic sites attendees will visit. Brochure printing is a fantastic way to promote events like this, sharing all the details and pairing them with local maps and images from previous tours.
Guests will have 30 minutes to socialize and enjoy their cocktails before the 1.5-hour tour embarks. The stops will include two locations that are considered the most haunted in town. At the tour’s end, participants will receive a paranormal investigator certificate.
Registered participants will meet at the Slainte Public House in Georgetown at 7:30 PM on Friday, July 17th, with an additional tour running the following evening. Tickets are available online for $49.87 per person.
