Georgetown equestrian course teaches new skills
A horse ranch in Georgetown is offering a learning course where local riders can build confidence and learn new skills in a fun and welcoming setting.
The Jump Chute Clinic, which will be organized by Wildflower Sporthorses, has opened registration to horse owners and competitive riders in the Georgetown area who want to gain new skills and learn from experienced instructors. The workshop is open to interested parties of all experience levels, and horses will not be pushed or overfaced during the clinic.
The event is being billed as an excellent preparatory course for the Young Horse Show series and for breed inspections. Riders and their horses will build confidence as they learn to go over fences in a safe setting. Poster printing is a proven way to promote such events to area residents by placing informative, attention-grabbing posters in public spaces to make an impression.
More finished horses are also welcome to participate and use the class as an opportunity to refine technique and biomechanics. The clinic's ultimate focus is refining the jumping abilities of horses and their riders. Clinic sessions will last around 20 minutes.
The riding clinic will be held at 530 Crumbaugh Road in Georgetown. It is scheduled for Saturday, December 13, with time slots available from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Registration is available through email and costs $90 per horse.
