An organic farm in Georgetown has announced its intention to open its doors to visitors and neighbors who wish for an immersive experience touring its grounds.
The Grow Your Perspective tour experience will allow visitors and Georgetown residents to check out an organic and regenerative farm in the area this summer, with the next tour date set for June. Attendees will get to experience a sample of daily farm life while celebrating the Summer Solstice Eve in a natural setting.
The tour will expose attendees to cows, calves, and the greens grown on the farm’s grounds. Farmer Mac Stone will lead the tours, sharing insights and answering any questions that attendees have on crops, livestock, and everything that goes into running an organic farm. Print shops can enhance visibility for community events like this while also providing enlightening documents that enhance the tour.
Registered guests will want to dress for the weather, as the tour will proceed rain or shine. Parents are asked to supervise their children, as the farm’s electric fences will be on. It is a working farm that has been managed by six different generations of Georgetown farmers.
