Seafood market expands into Florence Mall restaurant

A local seafood market has moved and expanded into a restaurant at the Florence Mall. Afishionados moved with two other vendors Memory Makers Café and CupCakery and Kentucky Olive.

The three businesses formed Olde Kentucky Market and moved to the Florence Mall. They installed lighting, painted walls, and installed new flooring.

Afishionados is now a fish market and restaurant. Their cases are filled with Gulf Shrimp, oysters, salmon, tuna, littleneck clams, and royal red shrimp. They share prepared foods like lobster bisque, crab cakes, and lobster mac and cheese.

Visitors will appreciate the large dining room, and kitchen, and see what is now a fast-casual, dining restaurant. The menu has cod sandwiches, lobster rolls, and fish served with tasty side dishes.

They serve hotdogs, hamburgers, steak and chicken from Murphy’s Quality Meats as alternative items on the menu. Florence has Print shops that have graphic design departments for Logo Design for businesses like these.

John Fontaine, the owner of Afishionados, worked at Lobsta Bake and at a Keegan’s Seafood. Despite the fact that he competes with larger businesses he believes their delicious food will beat out the competition.

The Olde Kentucky Market has the fish restaurant and shop called Afishionados, Memory Makers Café and Cupcakery and Kentucky Olive.

They have their own separate entrance at the Florence Mall and are on the second floor. It is located at 2028 Mall Road.
