New business marries ice cream and booze for an adult treat

Florence’s new ice cream shop, located at 8133 Mall Rd, is where ice cream and booze come together to make an adults-only treat.

The establishment, known as Twisted Cream, gives patrons a choice of ice cream flavors and alcohol selections. The alcohol is mixed with the ice cream and the two are then, using liquid nitrogen, frozen together.

Patrons, racked by indecision concerning what combination to pick, can start with one of the many suggested combinations or use them as a spring board to mix and match their own selection. Once the boozy ice cream mix is finished, customers have a variety of ice cream topping to finish off their own unique concoction.

Flyer printing for new businesses, especially those bringing a new concept into the market, is an inexpensive way to familiarize the public with the company’s name and its product.

The cost is $3.50 for the first scoop and $1 for each added scoop. Shots of alcohol are $4 each with a charge of $1 per topping. The shop will be open 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm Sunday through Thursday and 12:00 pm to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.

It has taken six months for the shop to become a reality. Keeping family friendly, Twisted Cream offers ice cream minus the alcohol as well.
