A business networking initiative designed exclusively for female entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals will have a spa day as one of its monthly meetings.
The September meet-and-greet will be held at Cloud 9 Salon & Spa in Florence. The event is free of charge, and attendees can sample free appetizers and visit a cash bar.
The networking program is part of the Women’s Initiative of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce – the fastest growing arm of the organization, according to the NKYCC’s website. The Women’s Initiative was designed to help businesswomen in the area “connect, grow, and achieve.”
Other networking events include an annual breakfast and a golfing day. The Women’s Initiative also has mentoring programs for businesswomen and an awards event to recognize success.
The monthly networking events take place at various female-owned businesses who are members of the Chamber. There is a strict policy that attendees are not allowed to pitch their products or services, but instead network and generate contacts. Attendees at networking events such as this one should always have Business Cards on hand.
The Women's Initiative CONNECT Hour at Cloud 9 Salon & Spa is scheduled to take place on Monday, September 28 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at 393 Mt. Zion Road Suite A in Florence. Businesswomen can register for the event on the Chamber’s website.
