Mental Health seminar to be held in Florence

A local college is set to host a mental wellness seminar this December for residents of the community.

‘Mental Wellness in the Workplace’ invites participants to engage in an insightful discussion about helpful practices to avoid psychological distress while working. The session comes as the second installment of the Women's Initiative Body and Mind Professional Series.

The event will have a variety of mental health experts engaged in a panel discussion led by Claire Parsons, a Partner at Wood and Lamping LLP. She boasts certifications in yoga, as well as having a successful career and family life. She will offer information on mindfulness tips that have been helpful in her journey.

The seminar also offers a complimentary breakfast and a Q&A session following the discussions. The event is to be put on by the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. They aim to promote growth in local businesses by offering professional development seminars such as this.

The price of admission to the event will vary. Prices will depend on membership with the Chamber. Prices will range from $20 to $50, and further information is available on the event’s listing on the organizer’s website.
