Kentucky awards to celebrate womens achievements

The 2021 Outstanding Women of Northern Kentucky Awards Celebration will be held virtually next month.

Each year, women are honored for their professional excellence, service to the community, and leadership skills. This year’s awards will be held on the official Facebook page of the Northern Kentucky Chamber. The 2021 honorees are Danielle Amrine, the CEO of Welcome House of Northern Kentucky; and Nancy Grayson, the President of Horizon Community Funds.

Several other categories and awards are also featured each year, including the Emerging Leader accolade, which will be presented to Rachel DesRochers, the CEO of Grateful Grahams and Incubator Kitchen Collective. The honoree for the Helen Carroll Champion of Education award is Irene Encarnación, a Spanish language Senior Lecturer at the Northern Kentucky University. Lee Ann Ernst, the Coordinator for the Infectious Disease Response Team at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, will receive the Henrietta Cleveland Inspiring Women award. The Judith Clabes Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Susan McDonald.

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is the 2021 title sponsor. The medical facility has more than 1,200 physicians in its six locations in the cities of Florence, Dearborn, Covington, Fort Thomas, Edgewood, and Grant.

Sponsors are still needed for this event. Supporters may have their company’s Logo Design included on any printed or digital materials created for the event. Further information is available by contacting Diana McGlade at dmcglade@NKYChamber.com.

The 2021 awards will be presented on Tuesday, June 8 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM on the Northern Kentucky Chamber’s Facebook page. There is no charge to virtually attend the event.
