The Northern Kentucky Society for Professional Engineers (NKSPE) will be holding its annual Golf Outing Fundraiser next month in Union. Golfers from throughout the area, including the cities of Florence, Covington, and Fort Thomas are invited to participate.
The golf outing is organized each year in support of the Northern Kentucky Chapter’s Scholarship Fund. The fund provides a minimum of one high school student each year with a scholarship to attend the Engineering Program at the Northern Kentucky University. The scholarship is well received by the community, with many qualified students applying for the financial support. The sole source of funding for the bursary is from the revenue from this annual fundraiser.
Organizations wishing to support this event are asked to sponsor a hole at the tournament. Poster printing may be used to place advertisements at the sponsored hole. Companies will also receive recognition on the NKSPE website and will be specially mentioned at the event. The scholarship fund needs to raise at least $8,000 this year, and is therefore hoping for repeat support from past donors and is eager to find new sponsors, looking to champion post-secondary education in the community.
The 2021 Golf Outing Fundraiser will be held on Monday, August 23, in Union, at the Triple Crown Country Club. Hole sponsorship or a ticket for a full round of golf plus lunch and dinner costs $150 each. Donations will also be accepted on the Eventbrite website.
