The A'cat'emy Awards Extravaganza is taking place this month. It is a fundraising gala for the Ohio Alleycat Resource and Spay/Neuter Clinic (OAR).
Guests will be treated just like Hollywood celebrities while they walk the red carpet on the way into the event. Once inside they will enjoy a cocktail reception, dinner, and dessert. There will also be live and silent auctions for a variety of exciting items, some but not all of which are related to cats.
VIP guests will have the opportunity to attend a preview party with an open bar and a special raffle, for which tickets cost $100 each. Tickets for general admission are $65, which includes one drink ticket and a cash bar afterwards.
OAR is a no-kill shelter that provides low-cost spaying and neutering in the Greater Cincinnati area. The organization also supports TNR (trap-neuter-return for feral cats) while sponsoring several outreach programs.
For fundraising events that are expected to attract people from all over the area, including Florence, local Stationery printers will provide items such as Flyers that can be easily and inexpensively distributed.
The A'cat'emy Awards Extravaganza will be held at The Phoenix in Cincinnati on February 27 from 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm.
