Florence golf course to offer young children lessons

To Florence parents and guardians who are looking to put their children into afterschool activities, World Of Golf will be offering lessons for children from the ages of 4 to 7 this December.

During these classes, children will develop their golfing and coordination skills through a method that is fun and easy. One of the ways this will be done is through a method similar to tee-ball, the version of baseball adapted for kids. A golf ball will be placed on a special tee and each child will be told to hit the ball with as much force as they can muster.

All of these hour-long lessons will be held at the World of Golf facility. Formally known as World Of Sports, the City of Florence-owned and Landrum Golf Management-operated spot has been a part of the community for more than 48 years. Among its features are a driving range, a full executive course, a full mini-golf course, a half-course of footgolf, and full-time instructors.

The classes will take place on Wednesdays at 5:00 to 6:00 pm from December 1 to 15. The World of Golf is located at 7400 Woodspoint Dr. In total, the three classes will cost $37.50. For more information, parents can look at the description below the Active Kids Logo Design on the website.
