The career center is an important resource for local businesses looking for qualified employees. Kentucky Career Center operator Correy Eimer said in The Northern Kentucky Tribune:
“Employers are hiring in large numbers and we want to do all we can to help link employers with qualified talent.”
The KCC has been offering many of its services virtually for the past several months and will continue to do so. However, residents who may not have virtual access can now visit the local office.
Florence residents can now make in-person appointments for the Goodwill Industries, Job Corps, and Brighton Center agencies.
The center also offers the following services (by appointment only):
• Computer training
• Career coaching
• Resume development
• Job search assistance
Employer hiring events, where local businesses can find qualified workers, will also return to the center, with mandatory health precautions. Job centers such as this one can use brochure printing for educational materials, and can direct clients to printing services for professional resumés.
The Kentucky Career Center is located at 8020 Veterans Memorial Drive in Florence. Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 am to noon on Fridays. The office is closed Saturdays and Sundays.
