The Five Ives has organized trauma-informed training for leaders of non-profit organizations across the state.
The training, which follows the theme “Beyond Survival: How Leaders Show Up in a Crisis,” is aimed primarily at businesses in the education, social work, healthcare, and other non-profit sectors.
The training’s main agenda is to address organizational dysfunction by helping leaders understand why their companies are operating in crisis mode. Dr. Jessica Doering and Lauren Spigelmyer, M.Ed., the founders of Five Ives, have developed research-backed strategies to help non-profit organizations better serve their communities by creating internal care trauma systems that prevent and handle employee burnout and toxic stress.
During the training, there will be discussions surrounding topics such as employee health and wellness, implementing trauma-informed policies at work, and creating safe spaces for employees.
By the end of the training, attendees should have practical strategies and tools to navigate the mental health challenges facing their employees and the communities they serve. Organizers of events like this often provide special kits with additional learning materials such as Brochures, worksheets, promotional Pens, or even Books to help attendees implement what they learn during the training.
Scheduled for May 6th, this training will run all day from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm, and will be held at the Gathering House at Florence Nature Park in Florence, Kentucky.Get a Free Quote for Books Get a Free Quote for Pens Get a Free Quote for Brochures
