A racing event is to be held in Walton, starting next week.
The occasion is a two-part competition spanning over three days. The annual King of Compacts and King of Sports Mod event gives racers and car tuners an opportunity to showcase their skills. The prize for the winners in each category is $1,000 for the minimum features. There is also a $10,000 reward each for the King of Compacts and King of Sports Mods. The competition will have multiple laps depending on the preferences of drivers.
There will also be an exciting afterparty for all attendees. The event is open to all residents, including Florence, Kentucky.
The cost for entry to this event will be $100 for pre-entry to the event. Those who would like to rent transponders may do so at a cost of $25. A transponder pouch is also available for rent. Advance registration is available on the event’s website and all drivers must complete the registration to compete. Payment can also be made at the gates.
