Fathers to get lesson in nurturing

An educational session is to be held in Florence this January.

At “Nurturing Fathers Facilitator Training,” the aim is to equip attendees with the knowledge necessary to create stable and effective family relationships. The topics will include positive disciplinary strategies, family communication improvement, de-escalating disagreements, and creating a sense of cooperation and teamwork among family members. The course will feature a look at research-based methods that have been shown to be effective in the home.

The class is open to all those interested in social work, as well as parents. The session will be conducted virtually, and participants will receive contact details after registration. The course is equivalent to 15 credits of the CEU program by the Kentucky and Ohio Board of Social Work.

The seminar’s leader will be Carol Lapin, who has been conducting these sessions in front of a wide audience for over 27 years.

The cost for registration will be $450. Registration options are available on the class’s website. There are no refunds within seven days of the event’s starting date.

This event takes place from January 18 to 20 on the Zoom platform. The headquarters of the facility is 5 Spiral Drive, Suite 100, Florence, Kentucky. It begins at 9:30 am and ends at 4:30 pm.
