There will be an educational forum for teachers held in Florence this February.
The event is aimed at secondary educational workers. It will focus on equipping teachers with the tools necessary to enhance postsecondary partnerships, and is an effort to ensure that students have a smooth transition from secondary to tertiary institutions. There will be live testimonials from other educators who have previously worked through the program, as well as information on how the information may be beneficial to students across the region.
The forum is put on by the Council on Post-Secondary Education. The organization currently serves as overseer for all Kentucky Universities and state colleges. They ensure affordability to quality education for students and implement and manage programs that aid with student success. With an event such as this, the group’s initiative continues by empowering educators to build and maintain relationships with other institutions.
The event is free for all to attend, however, it requires a reservation. This is available on the Eventbrite website.
Flyer printing can be a useful way to provide additional information to attendees at events like this.
The forum will take place on Tuesday, February 28 at the Gateway Community and Technical College. This is located at 500 Technology Way, Florence, Kentucky, 41042. It begins at 8:30am and ends at 3:30pm.
