Country artist Jimmie Allen is set to perform in Cincinnati this April. This concert is part of the artist’s Down Home Tour 2022, and is sure to attract fans from nearby Florence.
Allen is relatively new to the country music scene. After a few years living out of his car in Nashville, he signed with Broken Bow Records in 2017. He then released a self-titled EP, met with much critical acclaim.
His first single ‘Best Shot’ topped several charts upon its release. These include the Hot Country, Country Airplay, and Billboard Hot 100. The second single ‘Make Me Want To’ also topped the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Both singles have also reached platinum status.
Jimmie Allen also released a collaboration project called Bettie James. It features himself, as well as well-known country artists like Keith Urban, as well as names from outside the genre like Pitbull.
In addition, Allen has won the ACM New Male Artist of the year award and the CMA New Artist of the Year award. He has also been nominated for the Best New Artist Award at the 64th Grammy Awards.
