Time to stroll the candlelit trails in Overland Park
The Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Garden’s Holiday Luminary Walk will feature holiday lights and live musical entertainment, plus a mile of candles.
Campfires, hot cider, holiday lights, horse-drawn wagons and a special visit from Santa Claus light up the event to the joy of adults and children. Additionally, mystical Fairy and Gnome Villages delight visitors. Banner printing creates highly visible signage, as the banners can be placed high in the air.
The transformation of the Arboretum for this fundraising event is handled by staff and volunteers. Lining the walkways with thousands of candles, as well as the trails, is a big project so volunteers are always needed and appreciated. More holiday lights will be found on trees, bridges and buildings.
Santa’s Woodland Depot will be set up in the Train Garden, allowing children to visit with him each night from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Flyer printing is effective in marketing events such as this in advance, and full color printing creates an attractive presentation.
To purchase tickets in advance, visit the website. Online tickets are $10 per person, although children ages five and under are free.
