Overland Park to participate in Toys for Tots
The festive season is coming fast, and in Overland Park, that means it is almost time for a festive experience for local families.
The Overland Park Convention Center will be the location for an activity that will make the holidays happier for kids in need. It will include a festive family photo shoot, and the fee for the session will be the donation of a new, unwrapped toy.
Participating families may be able to have their photos taken with Santa, and they will also get to meet a Marine, live and in person. The session will be taking place on selected Saturdays, and the big guy in red will be on hand for the dates in December.
The listing for the activity explained that anyone who would like to drop off a donation at the venue at another time is welcome to do so, and these will be collected until mid-December. There will be several props set up in a holiday display for anyone who would like to take pictures, and signage is posted to help the public locate the area in which it is on offer.
Holiday events may call for special decor. A banner printing company can provide items that may be deployed both indoors and out.
