Overland Park plans morning of Easter fun
Spring can be a time for fun and laughter, and an Overland Park activity will offer both to all who take part.
The community’s downtown merchants will once again be hosting an Egg Hunt, and will run for four hours. It will be a twist on a traditional egg hunt, and encourage the public to get out and explore the shopping district’s stores, eateries and other establishments.
This free event will see the public hunt for Egg Posters, which have been prepared by a poster printing company just for the occasion. These will be posted in windows of the shops that have signed on with the initiative, and each will have a special treat to hand out, for as long as supplies last.
Along with the egg hunt, the participants are welcome to head to the Clock Tower for some kid friendly fun. The Easter Bunny will be on hand for a meet, greet and fun photo ops, and additional activities will be announced closer to its scheduled dates. Anyone interested in sponsoring the festivities is asked to contact Angie@DowntownOP.org.
Everyone who calls Overland Park home is invited to hop on in for this special occasion. It will be held on March 30th in the community's downtown core. The festivities will keep on going from 9:00 am until they wrap up at 11:00 am.
