Overland Park fundraiser to benefit botanical gardens

The annual Botanical Brewfest is a go for this August, and with lots to offer area suds lovers, it will likely be a bustling event.

Overland Park’s Arboretum and Botanical Gardens serves as a reservoir of plant diversity, and is home to many species, both common and rare. It will provide a natural backdrop to the festival of craft beers, ales, stouts and other brews, and the fun will go ahead rain or shine.

The guests at the celebration will be invited to enjoy their choice of beverage from dozens on offer, and they can sample any that catch their interest. A variety of area eateries will also be included in the day, and the games, singing, dancing and other activities will hopefully have everyone smiling. The tickets also admit the bearer to the rest of the gardens and arboretum, and the monies raised will go directly to the facility to help keep it going strong well into the future.

Tickets to attend the festivities are on sale now, and the line-up of participating breweries is expected to be extensive. Offering the guests at a function like this Booklets that give information about a not for profit organization and the work it does to serve the community can be prepared to distribute to the guests by a brochure printing company.

This midsummer fundraiser will transform Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens into a giant outdoor party on August 7. The fun will keep going from 4:00 until 8:00 pm.
