Overland Park evening to help animals and kids
Prairie Fire Museum is set to serve as the location for an event that will spread awareness about issues related to humans and animals alike, and it will give everyone on its guestlist an opportunity to make a real impact.
This Overland Park venue will be hosting Cocktail Connect, which is an initiative of the Great Plains SPCA and KC Urban Advantage. Everyone in attendance will be able to learn more about these two area not-for-profit groups and how they serve the community, and many local chefs and other food service professionals will be lending their talents to the evening.
Each of the guests at the celebration will be treated to an assortment of light bites and even full entrees, as well as drinks. While they mix and mingle, the participants will know they are lending a hand to both animals in need and local students. A signature cocktail will be created in honor of the event, and everyone can bid on the corporate gifts and experiences in the silent auction.
