Chamber golf tournament sells out for another year
Once again, the golf tournament presented by the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce has sold out more than a month before it is due to take place. However, a wait list is available as people are expected to drop out for one reason or another.
Fees for the tournament are $300 per golfer or $1,200 for a foursome. The fees include 18 holes of golf, the use of a golf cart, refreshments and beverage carts on course, a gift for each player, and a swag bag. It will also include lunch and an award reception where a variety of door prizes will be handed out besides player awards. Tee off time will be 12:00 noon.
Sponsorships are available for purchase; local companies can also donate door prizes worth at least $75 or donate 150 promotional items to be placed in the swag bags.
With golf providing a networking opportunity for Overland Park business leaders, it is likely that many attending the tournament will bring their business cards with them or place a new order with their local printing company for more.
