49th medical conference focuses on heart
The 49th annual Dr. Robert D. Conn Heart Conference is taking place for two days next month in Overland Park. It is presented by St. Luke's Mid America Heart Institute and the Institute for International Medicine.
The conference is set to feature some of the top cardiac doctors in the country. Speakers taking part in this year's conference are David G. Skolnick, MD, Anna Grodzinsky, MD, Michael E. Nassif, MD and many other medical professionals. Topics of discussion are set to include heart failure, diseases and coronary artery disease. There will also be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Muriel I. Kauffman Women's Heart Center.
Other activities will include question and answer sessions. Various exhibitors will be on hand to showcase their latest products and services, they will also feature several speakers.
Fees for the conference vary. For physicians it is $240 each day or $395 for both days, for advanced practice providers fees are $180 and $295, for nurses and other professionals it costs $135 or $225 and for students, residents and interns the fee is $90 for both days.
