An event based in Schererville in early December will feature a pair of holiday characters.
“Heatmiser & Snowmiser are Too Much” is an art class from Brushes Paint and Sip. The participants will learn artistic skills as they make a painting showcasing the classic film characters of Snowmiser and Heatmiser.
Interested parties of any skill level are welcome. Some elements will involve tracing, so guests will still be able to manage if they struggle with freehand drawing. The event is open to people aged 13 or older. An artist will lead the group through the steps, while also maintaining a joyful and relaxed environment.
Tickets are sold via the Brushes website and will cost $39 per person. In addition to participation in the class, the price also covers the purchase of one drink from the venue.
Region Ale Tap House & Eatery offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Food choices will also be available for purchase. Those wishing to eat can choose to do so during the activity, or before or after it.
Spaces are limited for the class. Flyer printing is a common choice of promotion technique for art classes hoping to achieve a full house.
Region Ale is located on US Highway 41, at 1080 in Schererville. The Sunday, December 8 event will run between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
