An early November showcase in Schererville will bring artists and their creations together with the festive season.
The 2024 Holiday Craft Show is the newest edition of the annual event. The city’s Parks & Recreation Department puts a large focus on selecting vendors who sell handmade work, giving shoppers a unique inventory of items to choose from. The type of items offered will vary based on the vendors attending, but with over 200 on show, there is sure to be plenty of festive variety across the two days.
In addition to the artisan vendors, food trucks offering a variety of cuisines will also be there, as well as some raffle opportunities.
For this event, there is the uncommon element of having a pair of venues for guests to visit. These will be the city’s community center and Homan School. Parking is available around the community center, with crafters parking a short distance away at Redar Park. These makers will be able to take a ride on a provided shuttle both prior to and after hours each day.
Attendance will be free for everyone. Many vendors at crafting expos and similar events will have some form of Promotional Products at their tables as a small token to help shoppers recall their business at a later point.
The dates and times are Saturday, November 9 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, November 10 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
