Schererville residents looking to try a new crafting technique can do so at a nearby event in early June.
Wildflower Design is an artistic activity from Tracy Lee. The event focuses on using a tool to burn a design into a hat, making the piece truly custom. Guests will be provided with the hat. The stencil with a floral design, as well as other necessary materials, will also be included in the admission cost.
The stencil will act as a guide for the main design elements. If anyone wants to, they can also freehand some of their own designs in some of the leftover space. Participants don’t need to have artistic skill, as the craft is meant to be welcoming for beginners. This way, anyone can give it a go.
The venue for the event is Manic Meadery, located in Crown Point. The city is a small distance from Schererville. The venue offers a variety of drinks that guests who are 21 or older are welcome to consume during the experience.
The workshop is perfect for a group, pairs, or individuals who want to try something different. Everyone will get to take their finished pieces home, giving them a new addition to their wardrobe.
Tickets are available through EventBrite. The price is $100. Many small businesses will choose to advertise events taking place at their location via flyer printing. The experience is taking place on June 6th, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm.
