What's Happening in McHenry, IL…

Workshop teaches the basics of branding

The Illinois Small Business Development Center is hosting the Two-day Branding Workshop for Business Professionals, taking place over two consecutive Tuesdays in November.

These workshops will teach business leaders the basics and importance of branding. They will be given the tools to create a new one or update their existing brand. Choosing the correct one for a company can lead to more income.

The first workshop is titled Brand Strategy. This will teach people how to establish, create, and find out what they want their brand to be. This will be followed by workshop two, which will be about Brand Development. It will be mainly about updating marketing and how to attract the right kind of customers. Attendees will also learn about demographics, creating surveys, and analytics.

Since brand is one of the most important parts of starting and running a business, those who are already established may end up contacting McHenry printing companies to begin changing their brand identity. This would likely lead to a new logo, which would require items such as new stationery, business cards, and company correspondence.

The workshop will be held at McHenry County College's Shah Center on November 11 and November 18 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm each day. The fee is $50. To find out more about what is covered, call 815-455-6098.
