Upcoming expo an opportunity for local business
The Life is a Journey Expo is taking place next month, presented by the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be divided into several areas to give local businesses more exposure to the community. Some of the areas have names like Senior Street, Children's Court, Home Highway, and Business to Business Boulevard. This way, people who are looking for a specific product or service will know where to go instantly.
The Expo is open to both Chamber member and nonmember businesses. Fees for members are $235, $400, or $380 depending on location and $180 for non-profit organizations; electricity is an extra $30 and corner booths are an extra $25. Each booth comes with one chair, with additional chairs $5 each. Those companies that are not already members are asked to call the Chamber for prices.
In order to take advantage of this niche marketing opportunity, many of the exhibitors may decide to invest in services like banner printing to draw more attention to their booths. McHenry attendees will likely be drawn to booths that have a colorful banner or sign.
