Wayne and Amber Jett founded the R.I.S.E Up foundation in 2019, with R.I.S.E standing for Revitalize, Invest, Succeed & Encourage. They had the idea to be the funding agency for projects that would be specifically focused on children and families of McHenry to help enhance the quality of their lives.
The 2024 goal of the Rise Up foundation is to raise over $400,000 towards the revitalization of a local park. They want to renovate the park to make it fully accessible to everyone, including kids with reduced physical abilities. They plan on creating ADA accessible ramps, swings, and other features that everyone can enjoy. This project would be one that would enhance the parks facility and serve as a commitment to inclusivity and equality.
The festival will feature a variety concerts and performances. Passes can be bought for two- or three-days’ entry; drink and raffle tickets can be purchased also.
