McHenry to host networking opportunity
SOHO Networking will put on an afternoon of networking for McHenry residents.
The event is directed towards small business owners and offers participants a chance to learn new knowledge and establish connections. Events like these will provide opportunities to exchange business cards. SOHO Networking hosts a new event at the start of every month, with a new topic explored each session. For November, the topic will be “Working with a specialist or an advisor vs. Googling information.” Event hosts will go over why cooperating with insurance specialists or advisors can be more helpful than self-conducted research.
The event will be provided by McHenry Area Chamber, and it is sponsored by HealthMarkets, the Santos Agency.
The event will be held on November 2, the first Monday of the month. It will take place between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. There is no admission fee required for entry, and registration can be completed on McHenry Area Chamber’s website.
The plan is for it to be conducted at the Chamber’s office on 1257 N. Green Street. However, organizers have not ruled out the possibility of the meeting taking place online because of the COVID-19 pandemic, in which case it will be conducted through a conferencing application like Zoom and participants will need to use a computer or smartphone.
