McHenry’s annual Fiesta Days will be brought to its conclusion with a mile-long parade next month, giving residents a chance to come together and celebrate.
Every year, Fiesta Days ends with a large parade down McHenry’s streets. All kinds of groups, including local businesses, politicians, and schools, will take part in this march. For this year’s event, organizers have also prepared candy Bags as Promotional Products. Parade participants will hand out these bags to children watching the parade.
Leading up to the parade are other events and festivities as part of Fiesta Days. July 8 will see a “Cask and Barrel” night, where local breweries will serve up craft beer and food samplings. From July 9 to 11, local musicians will give live performances every night. On July 17, the “Art and Street Fair” will give residents a chance to interact with local artists.
The parade to round the event off will start at 1:30 PM and end around 3:00 PM on July 18. It will start at the Veteran’s Memorial Park on Main Street and will finish on Riverside Drive. Anyone looking to partake can register on the event’s webpage. Priority will be given to participants with floats. Residents looking to watch rather than participate can also obtain parade concessions and seating anytime between 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
